3. Tolerant; understanding: an unfailingly patient leader and guide.
4. Persevering; constant: With patient industry, she revived the failing business and made it thrive.
5. Capable of calmly awaiting an outcome or result; not hasty or impulsive.
6. Capable of bearing or enduring pain, difficulty, provocation, or annoyance.
So last night my 4 year daughter had a family project. Create a poster of your holiday traditions. Now I try not to be one of those parents who do all the work for their child and then have them sign their name; but when your own creativity is failing and your 4 yr olds idea is to just cut every piece of paper into small pieces you have to wonder where are your patience.
All in all, my wife and I bit our tonuge and in the end we had created a poster. It was fun to look back over her first 4 years and see the holiday's we had together. Hours of the night had drifted away, and a school project had given us all some quality time together. I guess in the end patience pays off.
